Great venue. I love their breakfast!! I come here for their soup and sandwich pretty often. Their laisy dazy sandwich combo is just to die for.
I also appreciate their attention to great service. I have never had a bad waiter experience here, ever!
Best brunch place in the area by far!!

This place is very unusual not higieníc, where ever and whatever you see, it needs attention! I couldn't give 0 stars! But it deserves that, not only saw it, I got sick and my guess was the orange juice very poorly conserved or not fresh made instantly like other places do. And really for better you pay the same price and don't get intoxicated !
My advice to you ! Do not get close to this place ! First and last visit in my case !
You are advice and the service sucks, inexperienced waitress !
DO NOT COMPARE THIS PLACE WITH THE SAME NAME AT WILSHIRE IN BRENTWOOD! 5  Someone should change names, is a missrepresentation !

Descent place to have Breakfast or whatever, no major complaints except for the bacon which tasted really gamy, I don't complain too often about bacon, but this really tasted off.

I had the special waffle breakfast!! I will return but hope the BACON doesn't!

Also a couple of dogs got into a tussle scarring a little girl, I like dogs and have one myself but I usually never take him to restaurants for this reason, maybe look into banning dogs from here as they could be a nuisance and some of these dogs are filthy.

    Date of visit. 7/21/19

I stopped by for a healthy meal while conducting business in the Santa Monica area. I remembered this place from back in the undergrad years, and decided to come eat here again for old time's sake.
I found the place has not changed much, and that's a good thing. The place is small, rather cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive here. I made a quick pit stop (the restroom is located around the back, and kept clean), then proceeded to order.
I went with an egg-white platter, with toast and fruit. The eggs had salsa on top, which was delish. I could tell that they used quality ingredients in preparing my food, which was very much appreciated.
After getting done with my food, and downing three cups of coffee, I was on my way to my next destination.
This is a good spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch in the Santa Monica area. I recommend it!

Small unassuming cafe offering both indoor and outdoor seating, a nice menu with both delicious breakfast and luncheon items, a cup of Italy's favorite coffee Lavazza.
I treated myself to Eggs Benedict, and it was a treat perfectly poached eggs, sitting atop a thick grilled slice of Canadian Bacon, and both items were place on a toasted English muffin and crowned with a delicious Hollandaise sauce. Served with country potatoes and a fresh fruit bowl. My breakfast companion ordered a Ham & Cheese Omelette which was both appetizing to the eye, and according to her delicious, also accompanied by home fries and a fresh fruit cup.
Our server Juan,  was polite and made sure we never wanted for anything during our meal. Give Lazy Daisy a try, you be glad you
